There Are No Shortcuts
If you are looking for an enlightened teacher,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since everyone possesses Buddha Nature.
If you are looking for a powerful being,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since I do not seek distractions.
If you are looking for a Tulku,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since institutions are cages.
If you are looking for a highly learned teacher,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since conceptualizations are demons.
If you just want to know the Samayas and the names of Masters and Lineages
like a dog craving a piece of meat,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since there are no shortcuts to devotion.
If you are looking for security in documents and certificates,
stay away from me—
you will be disappointed,
since Vajrayana opposes any form of control, be it an authorization or a passport.
If you think you know everything about Tantra,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since the ego must be crushed.
If you believe you can practice Tantric devotions while maintaining some form of control,
stay away from me—
you would be disappointed,
since for the Samaya, superstitions must be burned.
To those who share a connection with me, I simply say:
A
For everyone else, the analysis can last for decades.
Vajrayana is the path of transformation;
narrow-minded ideas turn medicinal nectar into poison,
but I would rather try to turn poison into medicine.
Everything has Buddha nature, even feces,
yet people persist in looking for it in brocade and titles.
Vajrayana laughs at these clumsy attempts to seek security and devotion at once,
while arrogance shatters the Samayas.
There is no certainty, no way to remain safe—
only throwing yourself into the void
and relaxing.

My Beloved Root Guru
The first time I met him, I was terrified.
I had a panic attack, literally.
He just asked me my name. He saw right through me; it was obvious.
It was precisely because he could read me so well that he destroyed my ego.
It is only because of him that I am a Dharma practitioner and not a spiritual narcissist.
I owe him everything; he saved not only my life, but also my future lives.
Keeping him in my heart with care is essential for me. It is the most precious thing I have, and I protect it.
I speak willingly and often about him; in fact, he is present in all my talks.
But I do not display him, nor do I use him
. Those close to me know his name well; for everyone else, he is simply Vajradhara.

About Lineage
Our lineage, my lineage, is Tibetan. It is a lineage that goes directly back to the 84 Mahasiddhas, up to Shakyamuni Buddha.
Among the Masters from whom I received transmission, there are representatives of all the Tibetan schools, including Shangpa and Jonangpa. These include Masters such as:
- The 14th Dalai Lama
- Sakya Trichen
- Chögyal Namkhai Norbu
- Garchen Rinpoche
- Choden Rinpoche
- Dakpa Tritul Rinpoche
- and many others.
I always respect the samaya regarding the Guru and suggest you do the same. Whenever I give a transmission (lung or wang), I always indicate from whom I received it; this is sufficient to fulfill the need to clarify the lineage.
About Authorizations and Institutions
In the Vajrayana, the authorization is the Empowerment itself. If by authorization you mean an official document, then in Vajrayana there is no such thing as a certified authorization; in fact, it is contrary to its principles. It has never existed, from the time of the 84 Mahasiddhas to today.
Saraha's master, "The Arrow Making Dakini," did not have any certified authorization, nor was Saraha himself certified as a tantric Master. The same goes for Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa, and Milarepa. Likewise, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu's masters, such as Changchub Dorje, Ayu Khandro, and Orgyen Tenzin, did not hold any certified authorizations or bureaucratic titles.
The principle of Vajrayana is to discover the Buddha nature in everything. A documented authorization is a contradiction. The relationship between student and teacher must be based on trust and careful analysis. Authorization, certificates, and various titles are just shortcuts to skip this essential analysis.
I do not teach in the name of an organization or a specific Lama; I teach exclusively in my name, transmitting only what I have received and after completing the necessary retreats.
